The story of BIRDBATHS begins in Roseville, Ohio – the heart of America's pottery country. Burley Pottery, our manufacturing partner, is the last American-made pottery factory still producing handcrafted stoneware using the lost art of Jiggering – a technique passed down through generations of skilled craftsmen.

Born in the 1940s

Many of our most beloved designs, like the iconic Summer Garden birdbath, trace their roots back to the 1940s when Robinson Ransbottom Pottery first produced them. Burley has lovingly reproduced and expanded these classic designs, honoring their heritage while adding new colors, handpainted motifs, and modern touches that today's garden lovers adore.
